Satish Chavhan
Satish Chavhan is a remarkable Indian artist with roots in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, where he was born in 1950. From a young age, he was deeply passionate about art, creating his first notable piece—a portrait of the then Governor, Late Pataskarji—at just seven years old, which received much admiration.
His journey in fine arts began under the inspiring guidance of Vishnu Shridhar Wakankar at Bharti Kala Bhavan. Satish went on to achieve a Diploma as well as a Master’s in Fine Arts, both with outstanding merit.
Throughout his life, his artistry has been a beautiful way to express rich cultural, spiritual, and emotional themes. After over sixty years in his career, he has beautifully mastered the art of blending colour, form, and emotion, effortlessly captivating audiences worldwide.
